High Wycombe Gang Show

The Wycombe Gang Show is an “extra” activity available to anyone in the Wycombe area involved in Scouting or Guiding (over 8 years old)

Our Gang consists of 100+ local members of the Scout and Guide Associations who produce, manage and perform the entire show which is a musical entertainment and variety show.

Gang Shows have a rich history, from their London show beginnings in 1932 under the direction of Ralph Reader to the shows of today which combine new and original material, popular music and dance with old Gang Show traditions.

Our show here in High Wycombe is officially recognised by the Scout Association to be of such a high standard that it meets all of the criteria for both on-stage performance and back stage management.

The High Wycombe Gang Show began in 1986, performing 32 shows over that time. An all inclusive show, the show is open to anyone involved in Guiding or Scouting in the Wycombe area – the only key criteria is enthusiasm!

The show provides the opportunity to really help children (and some not so young) to build their confidence, character and have a great time.

Since we began all those years ago in the Town Hall, the show has also raised over £125,000 for local charities.
